Weekend Resident Staff
Divine Mercy House is hiring a part-time Weekend Resident Staff, schedule consists of rotating weekends, generally once every three weeks. Shifts begin Friday evening at 6pm through Sunday evening at 6pm with the Resident Staff remaining in the home overnight. The Resident staff will manage weekend living operations of the home; be a supportive and loving role-model to each resident by living out the gospel in every day life.
Essential Job Duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Providing transportation for residents to various appointments.
- Provide an example of a loving Christian figure, and work to create a harmonious atmosphere in the home. Help to implement devotions, prayer, and materials that will bring further growth and opportunity for change to the residents in the home.
- Help oversee the home under the leadership of the Resident Director and Executive Director
- Diffuse and resolve disputes among residents in the program.
- Receive intake calls and complete intake forms when talking to prospective residents when Director is not available.
- Monitor each resident to see that she carries through with weekend chores, appointments, work and keeping her room clean and in order.
- Help keep the home clean and in good running order.
- Work with and accommodate volunteers.
- Attend monthly staff meetings with the Resident Director and Executive Director at a set time.
The Weekend Resident Staff functions as a teacher, role model, advocate, and listener while overseeing the residents and enforcing rules and regulations.
